Pre-Order Bonus–Chapters 2 & 3 of Ancillary Mercy

Maybe you noticed a little while ago that this website was unreachable? Yeah, that’s because Orbit sent out a newsletter email letting subscribers know that if they’d pre-ordered Ancillary Mercy, they could fill out this form and get Chapters 2 & 3.
And the website was promptly overwhelmed. Y’all are the best! No, seriously. But I put up the Clockpunk Studios signal and because they’re so super awesome, they fixed things up. I will probably be beefing up my hosting plan sometime in the near future, but for now things should work okay.
Anyhow. The important part of this is–if you’ve pre-ordered Ancillary Mercy, you can read Chapters 2 & 3 by filling out this form.
I’m afraid I was not able to keep a calm ancillary like demeanor when I came to the end of chapter 3 and realized there was nothing after that one particular sentence. I may even have gasped a bit like Kalr Five did when she saw the tea set smashed. Oh, the wait for Oct 6 is going to be so very difficult!
I may have laughed just a slightly evil laugh when Orbit told me they wanted to give pre-ordering readers Ch 1-3 and I realized how Chapter 3 ended. đ
I, um, may have thoughtlessly clicked on the link the instant I first checked my personal e-mail at work yesterday, and I may just have read Chapters 2 & 3 over my lunch hour instead of eating lunch. Would it be inappropriate of me to do that again from my home computer? Not the skipping lunch part, but the link. I don’t want to take advantage of the system but it would be nice.
And indeed, the cliff Breq is gonna be dangling from for the next 6 weeks or so isn’t exactly what I was expecting.
