Translation State Release Schedule

Two weeks until Translation State is available in bookstores! So here’s all the information you might want or need about that.

First off, the audiobook is being narrated by the always awesome Adjoa Andoh! Here is photographic proof:

The amazing and fabulous Adjoa Andoh sits in a recording studo with a copy of Translation State

The audiobook is available for pre-order and will be out June 7, the same as the paper/ebook.

Next!

I will be doing an in-person event at Left Bank Books in St Louis. That’s on Wednesday, June 7 at 6pm Central at the Schlafly branch of the St Louis Public Library. If you can’t make it in person you should be able to watch online. Details at the link.

On Wednesday, June 21 I am doing an online panel with Adrian Tchaikovsky on the topic of “How SF writers build alien minds.” RSVP here. It should be amazing, have you read any of Tchaikovsky’s work? You absolutely should, it’s fabulous. I honestly don’t like spiders in real life (well, I am glad spiders exist and am happy to share the planet with them but I much prefer they not share too close to where I am) but I loved Children of Time and its sequels.

On Thursday, June 22 at 6pm Central I will be doing another in-person event at the Schlafly Library, not for me but for Martha Wells and her new book, Witch King, which I have read and can confidently say that it is super enjoyable and you should grab a copy when you can!

I actually think that’s everything! I am super excited for folks to be able to read Translation State!
