I did not know there was a publication date. I’ve just pre-ordered.

So much Seivarden to look forward to! Is it October yet?

Also, just reading the blurb is giving me heart palpitations. Sounds like it’s going to be a real nail-biter…

I hope that it is! Also I am smiling at the amount of “Look how big Seivarden is!” I’m seeing here and there.

Looks to me like pre-order is available! Yay! A refreshing change from last year.

  6. A great many of those words elicit fond visuals and memories from Sword and Justice 🙂 Anticipation grows!

    Also, I just pre-ordered!

I am so very excited For this Book.
    Can’t wait!

This is unrelated to book 3 (maybe?) but I was wondering (Begging your very great indulgence) if you could clarify the disks used in Radchaai casts. I would like to make some cosplay type replicas of the disks!
From reading Ancillary Justice I assumed 4 of the disks would be EtrepaBo/EskVar/IssaInu/VahnItr, would that be correct?
If so, I’m totally stumped on the others.
I was thinking three might be: Propriety-Inpropriety/Justice-Injustice and Benefit/Loss(disadvantage).
Maybe another related to “self” or “House”?
Another could be related to The Lord of the Radch herself?
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you on this! So, I’ve actually asked an artist to design the Emanations for me. When I have those, I’ll definitely post them. As for the rest of the Omens, this is the list I made up ages ago:

There are likely several more, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there were regional variations, though the official daily casts made by the head priest of Amaat or a ship’s captain (or the local equivalent) will be standardized. Oh, and the discs that correspond to the four Emanations are heads/tails as well, Light/Darkness, Motion/Stillness, Beginning/Ending, and Existence/Nonexistence.

Hope that helps! Like I said, I plan to post the images for the Emanations I get, if only so folks can do stuff with them. 😀
