Ancillary Sentence 2

Today’s sentence from the upcoming Ancillary Sword, sentence number two:

Anaander Mianaai, ruler (for the moment) of all the vast reaches of Radchaai space, sat in a wide chair cushioned with embroidered silk.

    Interesting in that I need to remember and rejigger my gender expectations again. But I am sure a couple of pages and I will “Be back”.

    1. It will be interesting to see how this English language “gender gimmick” translates into genderless languages, like my native Finnish.
